About
Peter first fell into fiction penning stories to amuse his grammar-school classmates, which helped him overcome his shyness, but resulted in very few completed homework assignments.
This habit led him to create a series of stories in the fifth grade with titles bearing the name of his school followed by the word “massacre”. These hand-scrawled murder mysteries turned out to be a bona-fide hit, proving particularly popular among the students who were bumped off in the grisly, typo-riddled tales. Its success was regrettably short-lived, ending abruptly when the author was caught circulating his latest opus during class, at which point it was promptly confiscated. The story was eventually returned to him on the condition that he no longer bring his writing to school. The author would like to express his sincere gratitude to this teacher for not informing the guidance counselor, dean, vice principal, principal, or superintendent of the school, thereby sparing said author from an unpleasant fate involving padded rooms and uncomfortable coats.
